q Feb 2012 - Waldie Griffiths - A team of David Haggart, Gillian Haggart, Jim McCoull and Iain Buchanan lined up for the Waldie Griffiths against Midlothian but not play when half of the opposing teams failed to turn up.
20 Jan 2012 - Club Knockout (Bob Wilson Cup) - this was won by Alison Turner, Andy Muir, Peter Cleland and Alan Turner (skip). The runners up were Ian Lean (lead), John Adkin, Iain Buchanan and Andy Williamson (skip).
20 Jan 2012 - Lanark Jolly Pestel - A team consisting of Alan Turner, Iain Buchanan, Alan Murdoch and Kay Hamilton (skip) played in this Lanark CC Bonspiel but unfortunatley cam up against a well polished team and could only win 2 ends.
8 Jan 2012 - Cambusnethan Cup - Andy Muir put a team together and lead, skipped by Alan Murdoch, third John Smillie and second Jim McCoull. All went well in the first game against the Cups B Team but then we lost against their A Team and peeled the last. After all the scores were in we finished 7th out of 12. It was closely fought and we hope to do better next time.
7 Jan 2012 - The Paterson Trophy has been won by the team consisting of Elizabeth Rough (lead), Phil Biggerstaff, David Haggart and John Smillie (skip). The runners-up were Ian Lean (lead), Kay Hamilton, Iain Buchanan and Jim McCoull (skip).
17 Dec 2011 - The Christmas Bonspiel was won by a team called Andy's Army consisting of Ian Smith (lead), Andy Williamson, Jim McCoull and Gillian Haggart(skip).
28 Nov 2011 - Catriona Fergus played in Trades House Tailors team which scored an 8 end.
13 Nov 2011 - Caledonia Trophy - A club team consisting of Ian Lean, Alan Turner, Iain Buchanan and Jim McCoull played in this Ice Rink competition and finished in mid table.
30 Sep 2011 - Club Singles Competition - Our first competition of the year saw 13 players this year. The event was won by Jim McCoull with Iain Buchanan as the runner up.
26 Sep 2011 - A Bellshill team came second in the Hamilton Thornyhill Bonspiel. The team consisting of Ian Lean (lead), Alan Turner, Kay Hamilton and Jim McCoull (skip) won 4 ends out 7 with 2 of the ends scoring 3 shots.
8 Jun 2011 - A Kenny Williamson team have won the New Zealand Mixed Rinks Championship. Apparently this is played as an all night session. The full story can be read by clicking here
18 Mar 2010 - The Invitational Bonspiel was won by Lesmahagow team. The runners up were the Lanarkshire Young Curlers.
11 Mar 2011 - The Pairs Trophy has been won by Andy Williamson and Alan Murdoch. The runners-up were Joyce Cowie and Iain Buchanan.
4 Mar 2011 - The Cleland Trophy has been won by the team consisting of John Smillie (lead), Joyce Cowie, John Adkin and Alan Murdoch (skip). The runners-up were Iain Buchanan (lead), Rebecca Muir, Alison Bell and Anne Hood (skip).
21 Jan 2011 - The Paterson Trophy has been won by the team consisting of Ian Lean (lead), Kay Hamilton, John Adkin, and Andy Williamson (skip). The runners-up were Joyce Cowie (lead), Alan Turner and Jim McCoull (skip).
11 Dec 2009 - The Christmas Bonspiel was won by a team consisting of Joyce Cowie (lead), Anne Hood and David Haggart (skip).
03 Dec 2010 - Club Knockout (Bob Wilson Cup) - this was won by John Adkin (Lead), Alison Bell, Alan Turner and Andy Williamson (skip). The runners up were Elizabeth Rough (lead), Alison Turner, Hazel Lean (sub for skip Sarah Lean) and Gillian Haggart (skip).
14 Nov 2010 - Caledonia Trophy - A club team consisting of Ian Lean, Alan Turner, Iain Buchanan and Jim McCoull played in this Ice Rink competition and finished in mid table.
Nov 2010 - Province Knock out - The club teams were involved in walk overs in the first round. One team losing and the other winning.
23 Oct 2010 - RCCC Indoor Grand Match. Bellshill 1 consisting of Kay Hamilton, Jim McCoull, Gillian Haggart and Andy Williamson (skip) Had a disappointing game at Kircaldy and lost 14-3 to Bridge of Allan. The other Bellshill team of Ian Lean (lead), Alan Turner, Richard Wilson and Iain Buchanan (skip) had a better luck and beat a Strathendrick team by 8-3 at Kelso.
21 Oct 2010 - Kenny Williamson's team have won the Auckland (New Zealand) curling league. He won both of his play off games to win teh title for a second time. For details click here
30 Sep 2010 - Club Singles Competition - Our first competition of the year saw 13 players this year. The event was won by Andy Muir with Alan Murdoch as the runner up.
18 Sep 2010 - The winning rink from the Paterson Trophy last year (with substitutes) (Andy Muir, John Adkin, Gillian Haggart, Iain Buchanan) from last year`s Paterson Trophy got off to a winning start in the ice rink TB Dick Trophy against an Upper Ward Ladies team. Unfortunately they later lost in the next round against Coulter.
11 Apr 2010 - 4 members played in the Ice Rink Colinhall Cup singles competition. Alan Turner and Jim McCoull progressed to the knock out stages, Alan to play in the high road following an excellent win over Lockhart Steel. Unfortunately both lost in the first stage of the knock out.
31 Mar 2010 - The Bellshill rink narrowly lost their match in the Rotary Golden Jubilee competition.
28 Mar 2010 - A rink consisting of Alison Turner (lead), Alan Turner/Phil Johnstone, Ian Lean and Iain Buchanan (skip) played in the Jean Cowan Trophy. In their section of 12 teams they briefly appeared at the top after 2 games but fell back to fourth after the last game.
19 Mar 2010 - The Invitational Bonspiel was won by Lanarkshire Young Curlers team of Jay Wilson (lead), Iain Waddell, Luke Carson and Scott Gibson (skip). The runners up were the Whitecraigs team.
13 Mar 2010 - The Pairs Trophy has been won by John Adkin and Andy Williamson. The runners-up were Joyce Cowie and Iain Buchanan.
13 Mar 2010 - The runners up in the Ice Rink Presidents' Plate were Willie Frame's team including Gillian Haggart, Sarah Lean and Andy Armstrong. David Haggart's skipped the winning team.
5 Mar 2010 - The Cleland Trophy has been won by the team consisting of Iain Buchanan (lead), Alison Bell, Davie Armstrong, and Douglas Wright (skip). The runners-up were John Smillie (lead), Catriona Fergus, Ian Lean and John Adkin (skip).
22 Jan 2010 - The Paterson Trophy has been won by the team consisting of Catriona Fergus (lead), Davie Armstrong, Gillian Haggart and Iain Buchanan (skip). runners-up were Richard Wilson (lead), Philip Johnston, Anne Hood and Sarah Lean (skip) On the night three teams could still win depending on the last games.
9 Jan 2010 - For the first time in many years a Bellshill team played in an outdoor bonspiel. The team of Alan Turner (lead), Iain Buchanan, John Adkin, David Haggart (skip), Peter Cleland (coach) and Gillian Haggart (driver) played in a Bonspiel at Douglas. After 12 ends the team were 5 shots up but the loss of a 4 at the thirteenth end ensured a mid place finish.
11 Dec 2009 - The Christmas Bonspiel was won by a team consisting of guest Iain Smith (lead), Tom Russell, Davie Armstrong and Jim McCoull (skip).
22 Nov 2009 - Cambusnethan Cup, a team including Andy Muir and John Smillie played and came 8th out of 12.
John Smillie`s winning rink (Alison Turner, Alan Turner, Jim McCoull and John Smillie) from last year`s Paterson Trophy got off to a bad start in the TB Dick Trophy against a strong Avondale Heather rink (who played in the final) but managed to finish without disgracing themselves.
30 Oct 2009 - Club Knockout (Bob Wilson Cup) - in a very close final this was won by Alison Bell (Lead), Alison Turner, John Adkin and Iain Buchanan (skip). The runners up were Davd Haggart (lead), Davie Armstrong, Peter Cleland and Jim McCoull (skip).
The first of our rinks playing in the Province Knock out was Phil Johnston`s rink who had no luck at all leading to a defeat against Dippol. David Haggart`s team has got through to the next round.
Oct 2009 - Province Knock Out. The second club team skipped by David Haggart has got through to the second round. John Smillie played in the first round of the knock out but lost to Dippool (about 8-5).

29 Sep 2009 - Club Singles Competition - Our first competition of the year saw 14 players this year including two new members. After over four and half hours of curling it was won by Alan Murdoch with Iain Buchanan as the runner up.
We had a rink of David Haggart, Anne Hood, Jim McCoull and Alan Turner who picked up a prize at Hamilton & Thornyhill`s bonspiel-the booby.
5 Apr 2009 - Colinhall Cup - Ice Rink singles competition. Ian Lean, Jim McCoull, Alan Turner, John Smillie and Iain Buchanan entered this event in which 24 curlers competed. 3 progressed from the first round into the low road play off but unfortunately all lost in the next round.
26 Mar 2009 - Two club teams played in the Rotary Golden Jubilee Competition. Unfortunately neither progressed to the next round although Alan Turner's team did win more ends than their opposition.
20 Mar 2009 - The Invitational Bonspiel was won by Bellshill Team for the first time in a few years. The team was Fiona Johnston (lead), John Adkin, John Smillie and Andy Williamson (skip). The competition was very tight, five of the eight teams were within a shot of the winning score of +2.
13 Mar 2009 - The Pairs Trophy has been won by Anne Hood and Douglas Wright. The runners-up were Joyce Cowie and Iain Buchanan.
5 Mar 2009 - The Cleland Trophy has been won by the team consisting of Douglas Wright (lead), Alison Bell, John Adkin, and Peter Cleland (skip). The runners-up were John Smillie (lead), Alison Turner, Frazer Harrison/Alan Murdoch and Anne Hood (skip).
23 Jan 2009 - The Paterson Trophy has been won by the team consisting of Alison Turner (lead), Alan Turner, Jim McCoull, and John Smillie (skip). runners-up were Andy Muir (lead), John Adkin, Peter Cleland and David Haggart (skip).
15-16 Jan 2009 - Several members played for Lanarkshire Province against the Canadian Tourists. The games were for the Strathcona Cup in its 100th Anniversery year. The Hamilton provinces ended slightly up against the Canadians.
12 Dec 2008 - The Christmas Bonspiel was won by a team consisting of guest Ken Condy (lead), Tom Russell, Alan Murdoch and Iain Buchanan (skip). The runners up were Alison Turner (lead), Davie Armstrong and Andy Williamson (skip).
26 Nov 2008 - Blantyre Invitation Bonspiel - A club team consisting of Gillian Haggart, Anne Hood, Iain Buchanan and Andy Williamson in this competition and finished on a score of +2.
31 Oct 2008 - Club Knockout (Bob Wilson Cup) - this was won by Alison Turner (Lead), Gillian Haggart, Peter Cleland and Andy Williamson (skip). The runners up were Lorraine McCoull (lead), Davie Armstrong, Anne Hood and Iain Buchanan (skip).
26 Oct 2008 - Caledonia Trophy - A club team consisting of Alison Turner, Alan Turner, Jim McCoull and Iain Buchanan played in this Ice Rink competition and finished in mid table.
10 Oct 2008 - Kenny Williamson's team have won the Auckland (New Zealand) curling league. For details click here
1 Oct 2008 - Club Singles Competition - On our second year in this competition we had 13 players. It was won by Kay Hamilton with Andy Williamson as the runner up.
16 Mar 2008 - On the final night of the Cleland Trophy three teams were in contention to win. In the event the team of Douglas Wright (lead), Alison Bell, John Adkin and Jim McCoull (skip) won, the runners up were Gillian Haggart (lead), Andy Muir, Phil Johnston and Peter Cleland (skip).
14 Mar 2008 - The Bellshill Invitational Trophy was played for. 5 invited teams played against 5 Bellshill teams. The eventual clear winners were Cambusnethan on +14 shots followed by Wishaw, narowly from Dippool
29 Feb 2008 - The Pairs Trophy has been won by Anne Hood (sub. for David Haggart) and Alison Bell. The runners-up were Andy Muir and Iain Buchanan.
15 Feb 2008 - Cleland Competition - The game for tonight has been rearranged for the 16th March at 7:55 pm.
13 Feb 2008 - Two club rinks played in the Province Bonspiel. In this competition the scores from each game are added together. The first Bellshill rink (Alan Turner, Anne Hood, Peter Cleland and Andy Williamson) were a few shots down in the afternoon. The evening team (Alison Turner, John Smillie, Jim McCoull and Iain Buchanan) were one shot down. The overall winners were New Bothwell on +13.
11 Feb 2008 - Province Knockout - Bellshill Curling Club have won this for the first time. A club team consisting of Alison Turner, Gillian Haggart, Andy Williamson and David Haggart beat Lanark in the final. The score was 6-4 to Bellshill.
25 Jan 2008 - The Paterson Trophy has been won by the team consisting of Joyce Cowie (lead), Alan Turner, Peter Cleland and Andy Williamson (skip). The runners-up were Alison Turner (lead), Alan Murdoch, John Smillie and Douglas Wright (skip).
14 Jan 2008 - Province Knockout - A club team consisting of Alison Turner, Gillian Haggart, Andy Williamson and David Haggart won their second match when their opposition did not turn up.
14 Dec 2007 - Christmas Bonspiel - This was won by a team consisting of Lorraine McCoull, Alan Turner and Jim McCoull.
27 Nov 2007 - Province Knockout - The club team consisting of Alan Turner, Anne Hood, Jim McCoull and Iain Buchanan lost their second round match to Lanark in a close game 9-8 despite winning 5 ends to 3.
12 Nov 2007 - Province Knockout - A club team consisting of Alison Turner, Gillian Haggart, Andy Williamson and David Haggart won their first match.
8 Oct 2007 - Province Knockout - A club team consisting of Alan Turner, Anne Hood, Jim McCoull and Iain Buchanan won their first match against Lesmahagow. The game was close all the way through.
28 Sep 2007 - Club Singles Competition - The was first time that this has been held, 21 Curlers competed and it was won by David Haggart with Iain Buchanan as the runner up. This will be played again next year.
1 Apr 2007 - Colinhall Cup - Ice Rink singles competition. 5 members entered this event in which 24 curlers competed. Only Frazer Harrison progressed from the first round and he played in the low road knock out.
23 Mar 2007 - The Bellshill Invitational competition involved 5 Bellshill teams and 5 invited teams from Lesmahagow Ladies, Hamilton & Thornyhill, Avondale Heather, New Monkland and Coulter. The final result was that Avondale Heather won on +12 shots with the first Bellshill team as runners up on +8 shots and Hamilton & Thornyhill on +6.
9 Mar 2007 - The Cleland Trophy has been won by the team consisting of John Smillie (lead), Jane Armstrong, Bill Downie and Anne Hood (skip). The runners-up were Iain Buchanan (lead), Andy Muir, Frazer Harrison and Peter Cleland (skip). Three teams were in contention at the start of the final games.
2 Mar 2007 - The Pairs Trophy has been won by Alan Turner and Iain Buchanan. The runners-up were Joyce Cowie and Fiona Hetherington.
16 Feb 2007 - The Paterson Trophy has been won by the team consisting of Fiona Johnstone (lead), Alasdair Fergus, Peter Cleland and David Haggart (skip). The runners-up were Lorraine McCoull (lead), Moira Gartshore, Carole Marsh and Andy Williamson (skip).
14 Feb 2007 - Two club rinks played in the Province Bonspiel. In this competition the scores from each game are added together. Each Bellshill rink was +2 shots in their games giving a total of +4. The overall winnners were Hamilton and Thornyhill who were +9.
15 Dec 2007 - Christmas Bonspiel. 6 teams competed and the bonspiel was won by a team consisting of Douglas Wright, Hazel Lean and Ian Lean.
13 Nov 2006 - Province Knockout. Team skipped by Andy Williamson lost to Lesmahagow in a game that was tight to the last end.
2006 - Province Knockout. A team of Jim McCoull, John Smillie, Alan Turner and Moira Gartshore lost a close game against Hamilton and Thornyhill.
29 Oct 2006 - Caledonia Cup. Gillian Haggart's team finished mid way up section A of the competition. After a slow start they won their last 3 ends.

Aug 2006 - The teams for next year were announced in the fixture cards and this website.
9 Apr 2006 - Colinhall Cup - Ice Rink singles competition. 6 members entered this event in which 36 curlers competed. 2 progressed from the first round (both in the high road knock out) and each eventually lost to the winner Archie Kerr of Avondale Heather. Fraser McCoull lost in the semi-final.
